The potential role of arginine metabolism in beta cell dysfunction

My research focuses onan enzyme called Arginase ll. In people with type 2 diabetes, there is less of this enzyme in the cells that produce insulin, knowns betacells. | will try to find out how lack of this enzyme affects the function of the beta cells.
